Monthly Drawing for $100 for all owners of the Red Rock Canyon License Plate!

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE? All legal owners of a registered RC (Red Rock Canyon) license plate are eligible to participate in the monthly drawings. Board and staff members of Friends of Red Rock Canyon are not eligible to participate.

HOW DO I ENTER? Mail a copy of your car registration to Friends of Red Rock Canyon. Your registration is your entry form. Make sure your listed contact information is correct. Please include your telephone number and/or e-mail address in the event that you are a winner. E-mailed entries will not accepted

HOW MANY TIMES MAY I ENTER? One entry per registered vehicle is allowed. Your RC plate registration must be current. You may send in another copy when you renew your RC plate.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM A MONTHLY WINNER? The winner will be contacted immediately after the drawing. Each month's winner will be published in the Friends of Red Rock Canyon newsletter, The Desert Trumpet. Only one entry per month will be selected.

WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY? Information you provide will not be shared with any other organization or entity. Your confidentiality is important to us. You may opt out of participation in the drawing at any time by notifying us in writing.

WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF WININING? All Red Rock Canyon (RC) plate owners who have complied with the requirements and entered prior to the month's drawing are eligible to win for that month and for the duration of the contest. As of March 1, we have 630 known eligible contestants. Your chances of winning are higher the sooner you enter your valid RC plate registration.

WHEN DO THE DRAWINGS BEGIN? Entries may be submitted beginning April 1, 2009 Eligible entries will be drawn on the first Tuesday of each month, beginning May 2009.

WHEN WILL THE PROMOTION END? This promotion will accept entries postmarked by December 31, 2009.

This promotion may be extended or discontinued at any time at the discretion of the officers of Friends of Red Rock Canyon.

WHERE DO I MAIL MY ENTRY FORM? Mail all valid RC license plate registration copies along with your contact information to: Friends of Red Rock Canyon - License Drawing, P.O. Box 97, Blue Diamond, NV 89004

Nevada License Plates

The Red Rock Canyon license plate has been approved by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). This striking plate is now available at any DMV office for all those who wish to support Red Rock Canyon. To get your plate, please follow the steps below:

Immediately take your existing plate to the closest DMV.
Exchange it for the new Red Rock Canyon license plate at a cost of $61.00 (plus a transfer fee of $5.00).
There is NO emissions inspection or registration renewal required.
Bring your ID and vehicle registration. ONE trip does it all!
Annual renewals are $30 and can be handled through the mail or online.
Plate can be transferred to a new vehicle.
Friends of Red Rock Canyon receives $25.00 (first year) and $20.00 for renewals (which are tax deductible).
We are required to sell at least 1,000 plates annually (new and renewals) to keep the plate.
Our goal is to have 6,000 vehicles on the road with the Red Rock Canyon plate.
Please pick up your plate as soon as possible. The more plates on the road the first year, the easier it is to market the plate.
